About Dr. Ozturk
Dr. Efe Ozturk is a Foot and Ankle Surgeon and the physician behind Ozturk Foot & Ankle and its two specialty practices, the Lower Extremity Nerve Institute and the Center for Lower Extremity Surgery.
A graduate of Lyndhurst High School, Dr. Ozturk earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Barry University in Miami. He then completed a comprehensive three-year surgical residency in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery at Morristown Medical Center.
His training included extensive, high-volume surgical experience across foot and ankle conditions in both children and adults, and the opportunity to learn under the mentorship of nationally recognized surgeons who care for professional and college athletes.
Dr. Ozturk offers both conservative and surgical treatment for the full range of foot and ankle problems. His work focuses on sports medicine, trauma, reconstructive and minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, surgical arthroscopy, wound care and limb preservation. Each treatment plan is built around the individual patient, with clear explanation and non-surgical care first whenever it’s appropriate. He also works with medical students and residents to help train them in foot and ankle care.
